The notebook made from vegan leather and is pale green in colour. The front is decorated with a wonderful Wrendale design which features a calf sticking his tongue out at the artist, clearly a cheeky one. All the animals are captured using a pallet of browns and greys and are depicted with intricate detail. Around the illustrations are speckles of black paint, in a way that it very synonymous with the Wrendale brand.

Inside the wallet is split into three sections. On the left is a secure zipped pouch that is perfect for storing any pens, pencils or some cash and in the middle is an illustrated jotter pad which features a simple illustration of wren in the bottom corner and a loop, so you’re never caught without a pen. The interior is decorated with a pattern of Wrendale designs set against a white background with black speckles. The illustrations include a variety of countryside animals such as donkeys, ducks, horses and goats.

Finally on one of the folding flaps is the wallet, which has space for 6 cards and some bank notes. This features an adorable illustration of a brown, fluffy horse and underneath this is the Wrendale logo in a grey font that contrasts nicely with the pale green.

The whole notebook wallet can be secured shut with the two poppers to make sure nothing is ever lost. Perfect for any stationary addict or someone who wants to get more organised, this notebook wallet would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves Wrendale’s designs.

This delightful range of stationery and accessories is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and paint spatters. Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business, producing a wide range of greetings cards, ceramic, melamine and textile items, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.
