This bowl from the Polka Dot collection by Emma Bridgewater is simply the most useful one in the house. It is decorated in a simple multi-coloured polka dot pattern, hand-sponged both inside and out. This bowl is the right size for everything, from cereal to soup to fruit crumble and custard. There are matching jugs in the range for the accompanying cream or custard too! The cheerful Polka Dot collection will be useful all year round, for everyday purposes and dinner parties. There are other matching items available, including plates, ovenware and a tea pot. For a more eclectic look, try combining it with mismatched pieces from Emma Bridgewater’s other ranges, such as Starry Skies or Rose and Bee. All of the collections are made of the same creamy earthenware, and share styles and shapes.

Emma Bridgewater Polka Dot Collection

This is everyday Emma Bridgewater earthenware at its best! Polka Dot is a wonderful design to mix and match, because of the simplicity of the pattern and the variety of colours on the pieces: pale blue, pale green, dark green, yellow and red on pale cream earthenware. The Emma Bridgewater palette may vary between ranges, but her tonality is always similar, partly because of the sponge-printed nature of her designs. Because of this, her pieces will always work when mixed and matched together. The Emma Bridgewater classic dresser is never restricted to only one range and Polka Dot is the collection which blends all the others together. Arguably the most famous Emma Bridgewater design, possibly the most successful, certainly one of her earliest, Polka Dot is timeless, cheerful, and endlessly versatile.

Not suitable for Microwave use. Not Oven safe.

Dishwasher safe, however it is recommended to wash in lower temperature with liquid detergent to maintain appearance.

Emma Bridgewater’s English earthenware is made by hand in her factory in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire in England. The spongeware patterns are decorated entirely by hand.

Extremely rarely, in the event of unusually heavy or oversized orders, these shipping tariffs will prove insufficient to cover our costs. In which case we will contact you and request that you pay a postage surcharge to equal our specific shipping costs for your order.

Return & Refund Policy

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.

- The reason for the return
- If the item is faulty please include exactly where the fault is on the item
