Golf Sporting Antics

If any sport is open to humorous interpretation, it’s golf, not least because it often ends at the nineteenth hole! Golf is the theme of this mug from the ‘Sporting Antics’ range by Cherry Denman with the word inscribed across the middle in vibrant green capital letters. Amusing golf course situations feature on the mug, including working out how to hit a ball that has landed on a swan, trying to encourage a ball to drop in the hole by blowing on it and teeing off with a walking stick while dressed in pyjamas and dressing gown. The images are painted in cheerful watercolours with a friendly sense of humour.

The interior of the mug features a player teeing off in a very professional manner on one side, while on the other a hapless golfer digs his way ever deeper into a bunker. On the handle, different types of golfing irons are portrayed. The perfect gift for golfers of all abilities, and a good receptacle for your drink if you don’t make it to the nineteenth hole!

Cherry Denman
This artist spent many years illustrating children's books, and has been working with Dunoon since 1981 creating a collection of light hearted, entertaining designs such as the 'How To..' range which feature on mugs in the Cotswold shape.

Cairngorm
Named after the Scottish Mountains of the same name, is a larger version of the Lomond shape mugs. It has a gentle slope to the body and a curved handle. With a range of fabulous designs to choose from this 'oversized' mug is a must. With a capacity of 480ml they are both dishwasher and microwave safe, with the exception of any mugs with gold embellishment.

Return & Refund Policy

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.
