House of Disaster Moomin ‘Love’ Travel Card Holder

This beautiful card holder from the Moomin range by House of Disaster is a cute, slim accessory that makes the perfect addition to the handbag of any commuter or anyone who spends a lot of time on public transport.

The front of the cardholder shows Moomintroll and the Snorkmaiden embrace in a touching scene from ‘Comet in Moominland’. The gold ring which he returned to her after he bravely rescued her is visible on Snorkmaiden’s ankle and the eyes of the two trolls are closed as they share a moment of love. Around them are lush flowers portrayed in the simple signature style of Tove Jansson’s illustrations, and strange insects and creatures that peer from the undergrowth. The image is printed in black and white, on a pale pink background, in keeping with the feminine nature of the Snorkmaiden.
