Enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon tea or toasty hot chocolate in this beautiful fine china mug from Wrendale Designs. A part of the Royal Worcester collection by Portmeirion, this festive mug is perfect for having a hot beverage by the fire this winter or Christmas time.

The front of the mug depicts an adorable little hedgehog making his way home amongst the red and white spotted toadstool. Snow falls amongst the hedgehog and has settled atop the mushrooms and the illustration has a wonderful contrast against the crisp white background of the ceramics. The design is repeated on the back of the mug and is painted in wonderful natural tones in Hannah Dales signature watercolour style and the image is surrounded by Wrendale’s trademark speckling design which adds an extra touch of detail and contrast. On the inside rim of the mug is the text ‘Home for Christmas’ in a beautiful cursive font with a sprig of holly either side.

With a capacity of 310ml, this beautifully illustrated fine china mug is both dishwasher and microwave safe, making it the ideal piece for everyday enjoyment. This mug makes the perfect present for an animal-loving friend or loved one for birthdays, at Christmas or any special occasion.

Wrendale Designs

The wonderful Wrendale Designs collection is inspired by the animal characters seen in the British countryside, farmyard and home, as well as more exotic creatures. Featuring original artwork produced by much-loved Lincolnshire artist Hannah Dale, each image is delicately painted with soft brushwork, subtle colours and her signature speckles of black paint.

Hannah is an ex-stockbroker turned farmer’s wife who, inspired by her rural married life in the English countryside, embraced her artistic roots and began painting the animals in the landscape around her. Since then Wrendale Designs has expanded into a family business and the collection has grown over the years, ranging from stationery to homeware, accessories to storage tins, clothing to ceramicware from British brand Portmeirion, all featuring artwork touched with the magic of Hannah’s watercolour brush.

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.
