Carefully curated for this blend of fragrances, the cotton wick has been sized to give you the best and cleanest burn time, creating an even pool of liquid wax.

The high-quality soy wax contains essential oils blended into a multi-layered and sophisticated scent. The soy wax allows for a slower burn, giving this candle a burn time of up to 40 hours, and does not emit toxins or leave soot on your walls. The silver tin vessel is decorated with a crisp white label that features the Marmalade of London branding, which is also displayed on the lid.

What makes Marmalade of London so special?

Marmalade of London is a luxurious British brand, with all of their candles being handmade using ethically sourced materials in a purpose-built, eco-friendly factory in the Cotswolds. Customers are encouraged to recycle, reuse and re-purpose after the use of each candle or reed diffuser to promote sustainability. The candles are made from natural ingredients - 100% soy wax, which burns for up 50% longer than paraffin candles, and essential oils. Each candle is made in small batches to protects the top notes of the fragrance which are lost in high volume production. Marmalade of London never test any of their products on animals.

The cotton wick has been carefully created for each candle to give you the best burn time for each fragrance. This ensures every candle burns cleanly, evenly, and creates a pool of liquid wax all the way across the surface of the candle within 2 to 4 hours.

Extremely rarely, in the event of unusually heavy or oversized orders, these shipping tariffs will prove insufficient to cover our costs. In which case we will contact you and request that you pay a postage surcharge to equal our specific shipping costs for your order.

Should you choose not to pay that surcharge we will refund your payment in full and cancel your order. Should we receive no reply to this request we will hold your order for seven days and then refund your payment in full and cancel your order.

Orders to the USA maybe subject to VAT or duties. This policy can sometimes vary from state to state, dependent on the local rate of tax as well as product to product depending on what it is and where the product was produced. Duties which may be levied on certain goods may also include an admin fee from the delivery company collecting these fees on behalf of the government in question. All prices shown on the website exclude UK sales tax. By placing an order on our site, you are agreeing to accept liability for any such charges as described above, which may be levied upon delivery. If your order qualifies for any of these charges, they will usually be invoiced directly by the delivery company delivering your parcel. For example, if your delivery is being made by FedEx, FedEx will usually notify you of any fee to pay either on the morning of delivery, or at the point of delivery. If Standard Tracked Delivery is chosen, a notification of fees may come via United States Parcel Service. In our experience, the implementation of additional fees and charges on deliveries is somewhat haphazard and varies from order to order so we are unable to estimate what, if any, fees may be charged to you. We therefore recommend visiting your government’s customs and import website for further information if you are concerned.

Refusal of or Undelivered Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us for any of the following reasons: the recipient’s refusal to pay import taxes, duties or charges (For orders placed before 28th August 2025); the inability to deliver a parcel due to inputting an incorrect address at checkout; or where the customer is not available or refuses delivery; (except where the goods are damaged or faulty) the customer will be responsible for the return of the goods to us and we reserve the right to deduct the cost of both the outgoing and return shipping as well as any admin fees that we may have been charged by the delivery company from any refund we offer.

Depending on the reason, you may be asked to send the item back to us.

Please ensure they are returned in perfect condition and packaged securely, because you will only be eligible for a refund once we have received the goods and confirmed they are in a re-saleable condition.

- The reason for the return
- If the item is faulty please include exactly where the fault is on the item

All returns are processed within five working days of them being received and we will send you an email when we have processed your return and inform you of any refunds that have been processed.
