This beautiful fine bone china mug from Royal Worcester is part of the Portmeirion Wrendale Collection and showcases an inquisitive mouse sat at the top of a dandelion. Full of detail and illustrated in the lovely watercolour style that Wrendale is known for, this lovely design named Country Mice is an effortless way of bringing art into your kitchen and home.

Set against the pure white of the Fine Bone China, the image is full of intricate details and beautiful tones of brown, grey and cream. On the reverse, depicted scurrying up a dried poppy pod with his snout in the air, is other mouse, perhaps chasing a scent? With each individual brush stroke visible, the mice are painted with fluffy hair, long whiskers and are surrounded with soft speckling which is featured throughout this series. Inside the mug is a mouse who hasn’t quite mastered the art of perching, and is instead hanging from the stem of the plant with this front paws! Whereas the handle features crisp leaves in soft browns and greens which brings the whole design together.
